Rejoule was one of eight companies/institutions selected by the US Department of Energy (DOE) to receive funding for projects focused on lowering the cost of recycling electric drive vehicle batteries and electric drive vehicle battery components. ReJoule received $6.3m to develop and scale a technology for EV battery diagnostics that will check for system-level safety hazards and detect damage or defects at the point of collection.
