Jonathan Speed

Jonathan Speed has been a collaborative C-level finance and business development executive at Fortune 1000 financial institutions and early-stage technology companies. During his career, Jonathan conducted credit analysis in the commercial real estate sector; completed $15B in complex equity and debt financing at Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Kidder Peabody, Citibank, and myCFO; restructured company operations and processes, ensuring fiscal, legal, regulatory, and tax compliance at numerous early-stage technology companies; and guided startups from idea to exit.

Jonathan is a venture partner at Waterman Ventures, oversees the under-represented minorities program at the Alchemist Accelerator, is a member of the Angel Capital Association’s marketing and membership committee, and sits on the steering committee of the CFO Leadership Council’s San Francisco chapter. He received a BA from Brown University and an MA from Norwich University.
